Find a Cable

  1. Medium voltage separable connectors

Our FORMFIT range of MV separable connector are suitable for a wide range of applications, including connection of cable to i.e. transformers, switchgear units, motors and cable to cable. Suitable for indoor and outdoor installations, the connectors are entirely protected by a watertight conductive envelope connected to earth.
  2. MINISM@RT™

Our Minism@rt cables present the next stage in fibre optic cable deployment. Using state of the art manufacturing technology and process control, Prysmian has drastically miniaturised loose tube cables, offering benefits to both installers and network owners. This radical reduction in cable cross-section leads to high fibre-density cables, significantly increasing duct utilisation. This offers the potential to increase the number of fibres in a duct, lower the number of ducts needed or extend the life of the existing infrastructure, all of which offer significant savings to network owners.
  3. MPO/MTP® Trunk Cable Assemblies

Prysmian offers an extensive range of MPO/MTP® trunk cable assemblies suitable for all data centre applications. Features and Benefits Type A, B and C available MPO-8, MPO-12, and MPO-24 Base Low Loss performance MPO-F to MPO-F or MPO-M to MPO-M MPO Method A and Method B available Compatible with Type-P MPO-LC Module Female (Standard) & Male MPO/MTP Connectors Small diameter 3.0mm for MPO-8 and MPO-12, 3.8mm for MPO-24 Factory Terminated and Tested Lightweight High Density ANSI EIA/TIA 568-C .3 ISO/IEC 11801-1: 2017 / ISO/IEC 11801-2: 2017
  4. Multicore circular cables

  8. Multicore Firestop™ cables

It’s when the flames consume everything around them and the heat becomes intolerable that our fire-resistance cable, Firestop™, displays its best qualities. In intense heat conditions this low smoke zero halogen cable continues to supply all the critical functions such as fire alarm, emergency lighting and fans. Fully complying with the latest New Zealand standard AS/NZS 3013. This range is designed to save lives and help protect property in the event of a fire. FS110, copper conductor, Mica glass taped, R-HF-110-R insulated, HF-110-R sheathed. According to AS/NZS 5000.1 and AS/NZS 3013 WS rating.
  9. MV submarine

The key features of these Prysmian products are absence of impregnating fluids and/or pressure feeding requirements, reduced cable weight and dimensions as well as relative ease of jointing. MV submarine cables can be either EPR or XLPE insulated. In most cases, XLPE requires an impervious metallic sheath (e.g. lead sheath) to be applied over each core to avoid direct contact with water. EPR compounds can be formulated in such a way as to give an excellent performance in terms of both electrical reliability and ageing, thus removing the need for an impervious metallic sheath (the so called “Wet Design”).
  10. NoR@t – All Dielectric

Our new rodent proof, all dielectric fibre optic cable NoR@T is designed to withstand aggressive NZ rodents. With a protective layer of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) the cable is small, lightweight and flexible – and still impenetrable.
  11. OM1

Multimode fibres are intended for all applications where the distances covered are short, such as Local Area Networks (LAN) or all networks with a small reach like campus, buildings or offices. OM1 fibre will support link lengths greater than 400 meters at 850nm and 1000 meters at 1300nm in LAN applications. A multimode fibre also enables connections for backbone, riser and horizontal links. All these networks are characterised as having many points of access to the fibre and the short distances covered.
  12. OM3

Multimode fibres are intended for all applications where the distances covered are short, such as Local Area Networks (LAN) or all networks with a small reach like campus, buildings or offices. OM3 fibre will support link lengths greater than 1000 meters at both 850nm and 1300nm in LAN applications. A multimode fibre also enables connections for backbone, riser and horizontal links. All these networks are characterised as having many points of access to the fibre and the short distances covered.
