WideCap-OM4 multimode fibre delivers OM4 performance in the 850-950nm window while maintaining compatibility with current multimode fibres. Traditional OM4 fibres offer high bandwidth in a narrow band centred at 850nm. To satisfy the exponentially increasing information demand in Data Centers, the capacity of WideCap-OM4 has been extended to longer wavelengths up to 950nm. WideCap-OM4 and multi-wavelength transceivers are a viable solution for future 100 and 400Gbps multi-wavelength systems. WideCap-OM4 incorporates BendBright® technology to withstand tight bends and cabling challenges in the data centre.

OptiC@t™5e

The communication cable OptiC@t™5e is a combo of a four pair Cat 5E and two bend-insensitive fibres. Not only will it’s capability for super high-speed make the building attractive to future owners, the Low Smoke Zero Halogen sheath makes the building much safer, too. Paper-Polypropylene Laminated (PPL) cables

PPL cables use a special low permittivity - low loss insulation type. Compared to conventional self-contained fluid filled paper insulated cables at the same power, it allows for increased transmitted power or reduced conductor size and cable dimensions. The use of PPL is in general considered for large sizes and for voltages above 275 kV. Patchcord

Prysmian offers an extensive range of optical patchcords. All patchcords are fully qualified to Telcordia GR326 and IEC 61300 and all materials used are RoHS compliant. Patchcords can be supplied in a variety of lengths and with a variety of different connector types. Different fibre types and cable diameters are also available on request. Hybrid patchcords with different connector types on each end are also available. PRY-CAM

PRY-CAM is an integrated portable instrument for automatic acquisition, processing and classification of pulse signals generated by Partial Discharge (PD) phenomena occurring in insulating materials of medium and high voltage electrical systems and components. Wireless PRY-CAM allows accurate diagnostic measurements and continuous monitoring without having to switch off the electrical system during the test.

Pry-Mould series

Pry-Mould accessories are based on pre-moulded electrical components, i.e. stress cones for terminations and one-piece sleeves for joints. Pre-moulded sleeves and stress cones are currently available for HV polymeric cables from 72.5 kV up to 525 kV and adopt the same design at all voltage classes.
